Why I create ...
The fact of the matter is I can't imagine a time when I didn't create. I grew up in a family of artists. Creating was something you just did. It was As simple as breathing. The picture to your left is a photo of a tile my sister and I drew on. As you can see by the date it was a LONG time ago. I was born is 1963 ... I was three years old when I drew my very own rendition of a "Man."
Good God! Now you can see why I named my company BuTT UgLee! My sketch is on the left of the tile and my sister Beth drew her "Man" on the right. She is over a year older than me. Her "Man" is way more developed. My dude looks more like the chick from Star Wars ... Princess Leia! The poor princess has grown fangs, has roller blades instead of toes and could possibly be pooping right in front of us!
Brain Fart ...
Is there a connection here? Beth's version of a man is smiling, has a nose, arms and fingers. He also has legs and it looks like some kind of shoes on his feet. Fact: Beth has been happily married to her high school sweetheart for over 25 years. Fact: Me? I have been married and divorced twice! Yes ... really! Makes ya wonder doesn't it? Quite the visual ...
So you can see ... I have been at this art thing, since I was at least 3 yrs old.
