ThanKs, FoR StoPPinG By. I'm So ExciTeD YoU'Re HeRe!
My name is JeNNy JoNes.
I am the Designer, Creator, and Maker of all things BuTT UgLee.
As a little girl, I loved nothing more than a new box of crayons and a coloring book. Coloring was my jam. I loved how the crayons smelled, their texture, and how the wax glided onto the paper. Even the coloring books had their own unique scent.
It is no surprise that I would find a way to continue coloring AND feeding my soul simultaneously. BuTT UgLee checked off all the boxes for me. I needed to create something that required me to use all of the things I loved to do the most. Like sketching, drawing, designing, sewing, painting, and using all sorts of really cool stuff like fabric paint, glitter, paint pens, colored wire, and much much more!
The best part about BuTT UgLee is that I create characters with heart. Every UgLee has a name and a story to go with them. OKAY ... maybe not a "story," but a quick snapshot of their personality. I like to give you the "dirt" on each one so you know what you're getting into when you bring one home.

BuTT UgLee is now part of the Island Style Galleries in Key West, Florida!
I boxed up over 18 UgLees for their long journey to Key West, Florida, earlier this month. I would have loved to be in that box for the ride. I am sure that they all complained the entire ride. Victor most likely barfed all over Peaches, who then used Poppy as a cushion for the duration of the ride.
Dyan Stuglin, the owner of Island Style Galleries, hunted me down and asked if I would wholesale to her gallery. At first, I took a pass as I still work full-time and have difficulty keeping my Etsy Shop as full as possible. There are not enough hours in the day! As time went by, I kept thinking about her offer. What did I have to lose? It couldn't hurt to try, right? That day, I changed my mind; I received another email from Dyan. She wanted to know if I had any more thoughts on joining the other ridiculously talented artists at the gallery. YES, let's do this! Before I knew it, I stood in line at the post office with two huge boxes.
Dyan was kind enough to let me know they had arrived in one piece and sent a few very cool pictures of my babies on display! They freakin fit right in!! Check it out!
